No one starts a business to struggle or fail. Many entrepreneurs worry about failure, and unfortunately, some business owners do struggle and never fully enjoy the experience of business ownership.

Business ownership is supposed to bring life to you and your family, not take life away. It's meant to create time and financial freedom, not lack and limitation.

So, why then doesn’t everyone find their definition of success and freedom through their business?

There are many reasons to consider, but essentially, all reasons fit into 3 categories that I will explain here.

The first reason you are not making money in your business may be because you are not following the system. Following the lead of your business model is harder than most expect it to be. Many entrepreneurs are willing to do what is necessary if they respect their business model and have no prior experience that compels them not to follow the system. However, when challenges arise, they may become less tolerant of doing what's necessary and start making decisions on their own.

The second reason you are not making money in your business may be because you are thinking too small. If you were trading your time for money before starting your business, your first goal may be to replace your salary. However, this thinking can limit your potential. Building a business is not the same as earning a salary. You must have a big vision with audacious goals and clear daily plans to execute from.

The final reason you are not making money in your business is because you are chasing the money, not the growth. Money is a result of providing value and service. If you focus on giving and providing more value, the money will follow.

Business ownership is the path to true freedom, and now, I hope you see that failure is a lie, and you can make as much money as you want in your business. You are the biggest determining factor of what you earn in your business.
